Culinary Visit from Le Touquet

Cary and Le Touquet, France have shared a sister city relationship since 1991. The culinary arts student exchange program was initiated in 1992 and is entering its 31st year.

This annual program fosters the development of culinary arts through educational and cultural experiences.

8 culinary students from Le Touquet, France will be visiting Cary and working for 3 of our renowned establishments: Heron’s (at The Umstead), Maximillian’s, and Peck & Plume (at The Mayton).

Would you be interested in being a host family for 2 of our students?

This is a wonderful unique oportunity to host 2 students from April 14th - May 8th.

Primary responsibilities of host families are to get the students to and from their work shifts and the other activities planned. We have 6 females and 2 males and they range in age from 17-21.

If you are interested, please reach out to Christie Moser: cdpaige@gmail.com
